Last Thursday 15th June 2017 a group of
participants met up at the square tallaght to view a movie.
We discussed what film to see and we all agreed to see the film: Wonder Woman.
We had some time to kill so we went to Costa Cafe where the group had tea, coffee and something to eat. The group had a great time in there! After we had our fill of tea/coffee and food we all headed towards the cinema where the tickets were bought along with the usual coke and popcorn(butter optional).
The film was about a heroine who was accidently involved in the first war by a pilot who crash landed off a hidden island where she lives. The pilot tells her of the war being raged so she takes it upon herself to end this war.
During the film it caused the female half of the group to get behind this lady hero as if their cheers of encouragement aided her and empowered her every move.
There were mixed emotions about the film after the group returned to the light of day but over all the film was enjoyable. Everybody went home safely!
