St.Patricks Cathedarl trip

On 20th July 2017, a group of participants and 3 staffs went to visit Kelley Bermingham a former Cherryfield staff member that now is working at St.Patricks Cathedral.

Kelley greeted us and showed us the Lady Chapel were there was a lovely service with communion.

After the service we went to a spot that was crossed of for the group.  We had lovely tea/coffee and biscuits and after that we had an opportunity to make our own stain glassed window design.

Andrew helped us a lot with the day and the glass window workshop.

Kelley then arranged a tour of the Cathedral for those who wanted to do the tour.

There was a lovely souvenier shop there and I bought a keyring and a pen.

We had our lunch lovely sandwiches made by Kelley, tea and coffee aswell.

After lunch Kelley organised a Insight session.   At the insight session Martin O'Brien read out his story of his mental health diagonis.

Eugene Stritch also read out his story.  Both stories were very good and insightful. Martin also made a speech. Alan Reidy talked about his Asperges Syndrome and how it effects him.

We all gave feedback on the day which I have to say was very enjoyable!!!

We all got a free family pass which was very generous.

Thank you to Kelley and all the interns and staff that made us feel so welcome during our visit.
