We go to the Wellbeing café every Tuesday and occasionally on Friday.
We like going there because we
have a chat with other people over a cup of tea/coffee or juice and all of this
is free of charge. This helps us being sociable and it’s run by an organisation
called Threshold.
The talking with other people helps everyone with their
problems because they are being listened to and that saying a problem shared is
a problem halved.
The Wellbeing sessions are on twice a week, Tuesdays from 1pm
to 5pm and Fridays from 11am to 2pm.
They run activities on Fridays but in
order to participate in them you must be signed up.
The café is located in the
village of Tallaght.
We like to be part of our community, it give us more independence and improves our social life.
