Hey there fellow bloggers, just want to let you know we have
started our pool competition which we hold every Wednesday as that is the day
the competitors seem to be in and we have had five interesting games so far.
First up to play was
between Alan R. and Christian. It was a slow but methodical game. It ended with
the score Alan - 2 Christian - 0. Both players shook hands and even had their
picture taken as they stood side by side.
The second game was between John W. and Tom M. this game had
some interesting points and a bit of excitement thrown in but in the end the
winner of that game was Tom M. -2 John W. – 0.
The third game was between Peter Mc. and Bernard G. The game
was both interesting and exciting to witness with close calls, near misses and
some unwanted mistakes concerning the cue ball. After the second game the clear
winner of that match was Peter Mc. - 2 Bernard G. – 0.
The fourth game was between Susan and Mary T. Even-though
the two games took a while to complete they were in no doubt very interesting
to watch with a lot of close calls given by both players. When it was all over
the winner was Susan – 2 Mary T – 0.
The fifth game was between Leo D and Willian F.
During these three games an interesting scenario happened in
which each of the players changed the colour of pool balls they were to sink.
Well that is all I have to say for now but once I have more
results I’ll keep you posted, until then stay strong.
