POPE IN PHOENIX PARK

Greetings to you all, how art thou oh you bloggers of Ireland and beyond. Did any of you catch on TV or go in person to either Dublin or phoenix park. The visit by the pope over the weekend seemed to go off without a hitch. The turn out to Phoenix park was extremely large for both people and bishops from all over. This historic event was well planned out with a bus service to bring the crowds to and from the park, the amenities were placed in squares or a grid pattern; this allowed the pope mobile to go through without been obstructed, the layout also allowed the crowd to file in and out in a safe and relaxed manner, to see the pope and the altar without people being crushed in the rush forward.
The coverage from both the ground and the air was very well done and it was due to the aerial view that the grid pattern was viewed. The coverage of the pope in his pope mobile driving amongst the crowd was excellently carried out and we saw how close the people were allowed to get, some people got to make actual contact with him and his minders did not over react by forcing the people back once that happened.

The mass itself was according to what was said on the television was done in different languages and the choir which also split in half and those halves contained around 1500 singers{ now that's a big choir}. The attending bishops were provided with seating both under the altar tent and outside. The weather was said to be horrible but that didn't dampen the spirits of the many thousands who were there.
Well my dear bloggers my time is up and I cant write anymore on this subject so as always leave a comment or not. Remember walk with head held high, it stops you from walking into posts, people doors and walls.
