A participant Eugene Stritch from EVE Cherryfield centre was showing off some of his art work and paintings he has done over the past few years.
He has lots of lovely paintings!
The one that stands out the most for me is the picture he painted of his Mother sitting in the armchair in the sitting room. He did the painting from a photography he had of her.
I thought that this was a nice way to remember his Mother as when he sees the painting he will remember the happy times they had.
Another painting that Eugene did was of a man and a women in the Pub. The man looks sad in the picture. Eugene said that they didn't get on that's why the man was sad. It seems to me when I look at this painting that the women has her head turned from the man as if she was being rude and ignoring him. This is true to life as it does happen.
Eugene is a very good artist and all his work is excellent. He really enjoys doing the art and it is a great help for his mental health.
