On Thursday 12th July 2018 Cherryfield organized a trip to Dublin zoo. We all met up in town at 9.30am and then we got the 46a to the Phoenix Park.
We made our way over to the zoos group entrance. We had to wait for the taxis to arrive with some participants and also for Tina to come with the sandwiches and drinks.
We all paid €10.20 group rate into the zoo and the staff got in for free.
We all split up into groups and some people did their own thing.
The weather was lovely.
We saw a lot but you would need a whole day to get to see everything in the zoo as it is a big space.
After we finished in the zoo we got the 46a back into town and some of us went to Burger King in O'Connell street for something to eat.
Then we got our buses home.
It was a very enjoyable day.
